Sgraffito Art Work

This Week in Room 22 we have made a piece of Sgraffito Art Work.  First we had to choose a pictogram of a person doing a sporting activity. We had to freehand copy the pictogram of the computer onto a bit of news paper and cut it out to make a template

Next we had to grab a white piece of A3 paper and we had to colour it all with pastel. It could be any could or design we liked. Next we had to get some black paint and cover the paper with it, being careful not to paint to thickly.

Next we got a skewer and put the template on the black paper. we skated the outline of the template onto the paper. Then we could colour in the template or do a design inside.

I decided to do a velodrome cyclist and do a design in the body, This is the finishing product.

My Bio Poem

In class we were getting to know each other using a Bio Poem. We inserted pictures into our slides relating to what we have written. This was a fun piece of writing and I hope you enjoy.
